Welcome to our University!

First, as the Fachverein Oekonomie (fvoec), we welcome you to our faculty. fvoec is an association of students, which represents and pleads for our students interests.

The new semester is around the corner and as an exchange student you may face many challenges at the very beginning. In order to help you deal with these challenges, we would like to find a „buddy“ for you.

He or she will

  • help you adjust to the new environment
  • bring you closer to the student community
  • as contact person provide you with important information
  • show you around Zurich
  • show you around campus
  • answer your questions concerning your studies

Additionaly, the OecRating gives you the insight into how our lectures are held or how difficult certain lectures are. With OecRating, students share their experiences from their lectures and offer insights to the daily student life at the University of Zurich. This might be particularly helpful with regard to scheduling your classes.
